Acer have announced the Acer Liquid Metal which is a new Android smartphone.
The company hopes it will be able to compete with the top smartphones and its features are certainly competitive.
The Acer Liquid Metal comes with Android 2.2 , which is the most recent version of Google's operating system and also has Acer Breeze UI , which offers additional widgets which can be accessed even when your mobile is on the lock screen.
The Liquid Metal has a 3.6 inch touch-screen and a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash that also doubles to record HD video. It's powered by an 800 Mhz processor and supports both HSDPA and WiFi.
The price of the Acer Liquid Metal is expected to be around £300 and it will be available in a choice of either brown or silver. The brown version will launch first in November , while the silver version will launch in December.
